At Columbus Appliance and Parts we like to see things the way the customer sees it. We know that not all our customers have the money to pay for an appliance upfront. If you are in such a situation, no worries. You can apply for quick financing at the store. This program allows you to break up the payments monthly or bi-weekly.

What Do I Need To Qualify? Not much. We do not ask a lot of you. If you have the following you will be approved in about 5 to 10 minutes.

3 months of income history
Monthly deposited income of $1,000 or more
Checking account with no negative balances
Valid ID + SSN

To speed up your application, you can apply from home. This way when you get to the store you can start shopping immediately.

Very Important: When applying please be careful to enter your information accurately. Innocent errors could delay your application or cause you to be denied. If you believe you qualify and you apply but you got denied do not give up. Give us a call and allow us to find out why you were denied. In some cases, we can work out a deal with the financing company for you.

What do I need to apply?

You are required to show proof of $1,000 or more in monthly income. It could be income from a job, retirement income, social security, business etc.

How much money do I need to make in order to qualify?

If you make $1,000 or more in monthly income you will be fine. When applying use your gross income instead of your net income. Gross income is your income before taxes are taken out.

How long do I have to complete my payments?

You are given 90 days to finish off your payments but if you need some more time that’s okay. We recommend you pay most of it within the 90 day period.

I used Acima in the past. Do I still have to apply again?

If it’s been over 6 months since you last applied, we highly recommend that you re-apply. The reason is that your personal situation often changes after a while. For example, you may have relocated or found a new job. You may have gotten a pay raise or have just retired. All that info can affect your application.

Do you check credit?

The financing company Acima may or may not check credit. They look at different situations about you to decide whether or not to check credit. For example if you consistently make a lot of money each month, checking your credit may not be necessary.

My income is less than $1,000 a month. Can I use a co-signer?

If your income is below the required amount you can have a family member, spouse or someone you trust cover you with their income.

Can I pay more than $50 Down?

Yes sure. You can pay more than $50 down. Please talk to the sales rep at the store about this.

Will you report my credit activity to help build my credit?

Sure Acima will report your good payment activity. This will help build your credit.

I do not have a computer. Can I apply with my phone?

Yes, you can use your phone to apply. If you do not have a computer at home come into the store. We have a computer at the store for you to use.

Layaway Payment Option

Different Financing Option: We have layaway payment options available. This form of payment can be used as a substitute for financing. We will hold an appliance at the store for you to allow you to make smaller payments until you are done. After that, we will deliver your appliance or you can pick it up at our store.
